Lockdown II: The Return of Boris, the unwanted sequel to Lockdown I: In Search of Specsavers, will almost certainly be upon the UK from Thursday 5 November, and will again limit movement in the UK, making some activities illegal if not actually impossible for at least the next month.
Fighting 15s and Gladiator Miniatures will continue to trade during this period, casting, packing and dispatching orders. The introduction of Royal Mail’s new collection service means that we can simply prepay for postage and collection, leave orders in a secure location, and have them collected by our regular postal operatives. It is slightly more expensive than simply dropping off orders at the post office, but far safer than dodging a host of supermarket zombies with no concept of social distancing. Plus the service handles international tracked parcels, meaning that we have been able to re-enable deliveries to all the countries that we usually serve.
Booking in a parcel means collection will not actually happen until next day, so please allow for this extra time once you get an email saying that your order has been completed. At this point, your order will have been packed, weighed and postage paid for, so we’re sorry that it is not possible to change the order or to squeeze more items in.
Lockdown is bound to result in a slowdown in postal deliveries, so please be patient.
